Savor Seattle offers a variety of tours and special events, yet, the gourmet food tour caught my interest out because Seattle is known as a cultural hot spot and, within that culture includes the food subculture. Sunset Magazine describes the experience as "blazing a gourmet trail" within the 3 hour tour.
The tour begins at the Mayflower Park Hotel, serving the Seattle area for over 80 years of "grandness" and features a total of seven stops at gourmet locations along the way including: Andaluca Restaurant, Serious Pie, Il Bistro, Creminelli Meats, Pike Brewing Company, ART Restaurant, and Gelatiamo.
Regardless of the tour's sixty dollar price tag, visitors of Seattle and natives alike will surely be able to savor something new and exciting among the offered tours. Not to mention, however, a full stomach and a cultured mind.
